is nestled under the boughs of an old mango tree at the rear of the property and has a more contemporary, yet casual tropical ambiance. Through the entrance gates you make your way through the beautiful gardens by the pool & water feature up onto the pool deck. A staircase leads you to the left up onto your private entertaining deck and through large sliding doors into the open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. The two bedroom cottage is fully self contained with its own kitchen, laundry, lounge room & verandah looking over the valley. Sleeping up to four people. The Studio sleeps two people, is adjacent to the cottage and has a kitchette, two seater lounge, small balcony and tea/coffee making facilities plus microwave.
The Deluxe Studio sleeps two people, is separate to the cottage and studio and has a kitchen, lounge, spa bath and ensuite, private balcony with gorgeous views. This is perfect for a romantic getaway.

Absolute Beachfront in Belongil
China's Place is a newly renovated timber beach house. An easy walk down the steps onto the sand and into the ocean or watch the sunset at the rear of the garden. (Please note, after the high storms during May 2009, the sand is finally coming back and one can walk along the beach to town at low tide once again).
The main bedroom upstairs has a king bed, ensuite, and looks out into the tree canopy and opens onto a tree deck (This is the only room in the property that has access to internet access). There is another bedroom upstairs which looks right at the waves of the Pacific Ocean. This room has a TV and queen bed but no ensuite. The two secondary bedrooms are downstairs and have no outlook.

Have an outdoor shower in the tropical garden or bath for two under the stars which sits in the deck overlooking the sea. Choose one of the 4 outdoor eating areas. The house also has cable TV, DVD, Ipod station, ping pong table, laundry facilities and a dishwasher. Walk 5 minutes to 2 local cafes or 20 minutes along the beach into the heart of Byron Bay.

A caretaker lives underneath the house in a granny flat but your privacy is assured. Chinas Place is a non smoking house.

All linen is supplied however you do need to bring beach towels.

Please note Byron Bay has a NO party rule.
