Australia's largest international Festival of Blues & Roots Music takes over Byron Bay every Easter and is a highlight of the Australian music calendar. Bluesfest features some of the world’s top blues and roots artists and so much more in a jam packed 5 days of world class entertainment. The festival is held at Tyagarah Tree Farm and is nestled in 120 hectares and is just 11 kilometers
from Byron Bay town with shuttle buses running to and from the festival site.

The Billy Cart Derby brings crowds of several thousands to Bangalow for a day packed with billy-cart racing, expert skateboard riding, parades, children’s rides and entertainment, a variety of foods to enjoy; a great day full of community fun. The main street of Bangalow becomes a race track, filled with billy carts of all shapes and sizes and kids of all ages. This award winning event is a great day out for the whole family.

Australia's largest 6 a side soccer tournament is held on the long weekend of June from 9am to 3pm at the Bangalow Sports and Recreation Grounds, NSW.
