Things to Do & See in Byron Bay

From Byron Bay town centre you can walk along the beach and over the headland to the iconic Byron Bay Lighthouse which is itself a popular tourist attraction with wonderful panoramic views up and down the coast, particularly popular in whale watching season June to November.

There is live music in at least two venues every night and often more. Byron has two famous international festivals, The Byron Bay Bluesfest at Easter and Splendour in the Grass in late July; and there is a wonderful flow of talent all year round. There are terrific open air and covered cafes and a great range of food options, relaxed and casual bars and one of Australia’s best range of casual fashion shopping.

Cape Byron Light House

Cape Byron Lighthouse is Australia's most easterly light being situated on the most easterly point of the mainland.
