Suffolk Park - Suffolk Park is a seaside settlement on the southern side of Byron, around 6 kilometres (7 mins drive) from the centre of town. Byron Bay Hinterland - This covers a large area predominately west of Byron but also north of Murwillumbah just shy of the Queensland border. Byron's hinterland is a "stunning must see". It's almost always green and ranges from dense sub-tropical rainforest to rolling cow pastures with ocean views. This area offers an alternative peace and serenity away from those noisy waves.
