Splendour in the Grass will return to warm up your winter this Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd August 2008, to make it the 8th annual festival. Australia's much loved festival event will take place at Belongil Fields in Byron Bay and will feature a real feast of musical treasures from around the globe.

The two-day annual event accommodates 17,500 people who party for the weekend to a mix of rock, hip hop, electronic and alternative beats from both international and national artists, whilst also featuring local arts and crafts, creative performances and cuisine. From humble beginnings in 2001 this is now a leading experience for music lovers.

In past years Splendour in the Grass tickets have sold out in advance, often within hours of going on sale – all tickets to last year’s festival were snapped up in just 5 hours, while the preceding three years’ events sold out in a little over a day.
