Byron Writers Festival – July
Three days, 100 featured writers and thinkers, 150 volunteers to keep it all running smoothly and some 5000 visitors – all the ingredients that make Byron Bay Writers Festival one of the hottest literary events in Australia. It all takes place on the sweeping lawns of the Becton Byron Bay Beach Resort with the huge white marquees that have become an event trademark. The festival includes live radio broadcasts, panel discussions, readings, book signings, conversations, theatre, literary luncheons and more, with activities to suit all age groups.
