During these periods there is organised public transport to get you to and from the festival and Byron Bay, all a short walk away from your accommodation.

Ballina is on the Pacific Highway, a 9-10 hour drive north of Sydney, and 2 and a half hours drive south of Brisbane. Ballina Byron airport is now serviced by several flights a day from Sydney. There are also direct flights from Melbourne. Interstate coaches and local buses also serve Ballina daily.
