Australia's largest international Festival of Blues & Roots Music takes over Byron Bay every Easter and is a highlight of the Australian music calendar. The Bluesfest features some ofthe world’s top blues and roots artists in a jam-packed weekend of world-class entertainment. The Annual Byron Bay Bluesfest is a 5 day festival of  perfect music and a great crowd. Over 70,000 people listening to Blues and Roots music from the world’s finest global and local talent, making it one of the greatest single concert line-ups in Australian history. The 25th festival in 2014 looks set to also be a fantastic performance with an exciting line up already announced and with Jack Johnson and Elvis Costello joining the mix it just keeps getting better! The 25th Annual Byron Bay Bluesfest will mark the 5th year of being at the festivals permanent home in Tyagarah Tee Tree Farm.   The site is nestled on 120 hectares, just 11 kilometres north of Byron Bay and 8 kilometres south of Brunswick Heads. It is a fully operational Tea Tree Farm for most of the year and turns into a Bluesfest site for a few weeks before, during and after the Easter Festival weekend.   It is a perfect place to hold the Festival, and allows 17,500 Festival visitors per day and 6,500 campers over the entire weekend. The festival has 5 performance stages, 4 licensed bars, an undercover food hall and a coffee shop near the Crossroads tent - a great place to relax and recharge your batteries.

 There are loads of options for accommodation in Byron Bay during Bluesfest, most properties will have a minimum stay and larger properties tend to be snapped up early on.
